Introduction 

Professional Coach Certification Basics (PCB) is a five-day course designed to support you in learning, understanding, and practicing Coaching Principles and Skills. 

 

Course Objectives

The course builds on the learning from the Professional Personal Foundation and/or Professional Coaching Introduction prerequisites.  Participants will learn and practice the International Coach Federation (ICF) 11 Core Competencies. The requirements to be credentialed at the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) level by the ICF will be reviewed.  Upon completing this course, participants will have met the training requirement for the ACC credential.)

The certification Basics Program (PCB) is designed to take you to the next level as a certified coach. It will enable you to:

  • Become more grounded and solid in your theoretical knowledge and coaching model

  • Be more effective as a coach, getting better results, and faster

  • Enjoy your coaching more by feeling confident and relaxed in your range of interventions

  • Become eligible for credentialing with ICF as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC)

 

Who should Attend?

Graduates from the Professional Coaching Essentials program are eligible to attend this program. 

 

Accreditation 

Certified Professional Coach Program CPCP will provide 76.5 hours of Accredited Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) and completes the training requirement for the ACC level.

Upcoming Course Dates in 2021 &2022:

  • 2023 dates will launch on April 31

   

Time: 8.00 am – 2.00 pm for live training and 25 hours for virtual 

 

Mentor Coaching Practicum - 10 hours to deepen the learning and fulfill the ICF Mentor Coaching requirement; participants will be grouped into learning circles where each participant will be required to coach and be coached.  Additionally, participants will receive four hours of individual supervision with the goal of recording a 30-minute coaching session that meets the ICF ACC requirements.
